Ready to use your digital skills for good? Join our team and help tackle the world’s biggest challenges.

Life at Forward Action is about making real change happen.

We work exclusively with progressive causes, partnering with skilled campaigners and strategists to take on the world’s toughest challenges, together.

But doing good should feel good, too.

We foster a space where you can be yourself, learn from mistakes, and get the support you need to thrive. Whatever it is that makes you unique is welcomed and celebrated here.

There is so much respect for individuality at Forward Action –  I’ve never worked with a team who are so genuinely open to different opinions, ways of working, and personalities. This creates a space where it feels safe to be yourself and do what you do best.
Florence, Forward Action Co-Owner

We’re committed to real inclusivity. That means putting time, energy, and budget into becoming an anti-oppressive, anti-racist organisation. And we’re always learning, improving, and holding ourselves accountable.

We’re also proud to be 100% employee-owned, work a 4-day week, and be remote-first. We have plenty of check-ins, office meet-ups, and in-person socials to make sure the team can stay connected.

Forward Action is a  workplace that considers and understands the work/life balance, leading on policies that help to take care of you while building skills valued in the workspace.

Our benefits

We really live our values in our ways of working. Our four-day week, progressive policies, and remote-first approach mean work fits around life, not the other way around. As a working mum, I’m so proud to be part of a team that proves you can do great work and take care of people at the same time.

Ali is currently Forward Action’s Chief Exec (maternity cover), steering the team and the work toward greater impact. She loves helping brilliant partners crack big digital challenges – and learning from the passionate people she works with every day. She has a background in Latin, which turns out to be excellent training in persuasive communication. Based in St Leonards, she’s active in local art initiatives and has volunteered on a range of feminist and environmental causes. She has two kids, and is eternally grateful to be parenting in the age of Bluey.

Digital Creative Expert

Anna is a Digital Creative who helps partners nail the messaging that gets people to act – from attention-grabbing ads to emails that hit the right tone and raise vital funds. She came across the world of digital mobilisation by chance when applying for a Strategy Intern role, and has been with Forward Action ever since. She cares most about standing up to injustice and amplifying voices that are often sidelined. She’s also a keen reader and always after her next book recommendation.
