UK for UNHCR wanted to grow its supporter base and raise vital funds to respond to emergencies, defend human rights, and support the 120 million people displaced around the world.

They needed a tool to help them reach new supporters that was easy to use – one that could integrate seamlessly with their existing systems to help them meet their ambitious fundraising goals.

We worked together to build a new, responsive tool using our Blueprint platform. It’s a system that lets teams quickly create and update high-performing sign-up pages, without needing to start from scratch. Blueprint gave UK for UNHCR the flexibility they needed to act fast, bring in new supporters, and keep costs down.

Step 1.  Building a digital strategy with Blueprint

Emergencies demand a rapid response from UK for UNHCR, so we put Blueprint at the centre of our plan to maximise their recruitment potential when working fast. This empowered them to take control of their supporter journey with real-time testing and optimisations.

Step 2. Generating three creative framings

A creative workshop helped us generate a range of powerful concepts. Using Blueprint we were able to launch three different acquisition tools with distinct creative themes simultaneously.

Step 3: Testing, iterating, and optimising

Supported by Blueprint’s flexible functionality we continuously optimised UK for UNHCR’s supporter funnel through a programme of A/B testing. On-page and daisy chain testing helped maximise the number of new supporters taking action straight away.

A four week Facebook campaign proved the power of an iterative testing approach when it comes to recruiting new supporters. Making use of Blueprint’s self-managed setup, UK for UNHCR have taken this approach in-house, and can now quickly create and test new sign up pages in response to real world events.
